The Juki 2-Needle, 2/3/4-Thread Overlock Machine sewing machine is a high-speed, 2 needle machine with a 2, 3, or 4 thread overlock.  There is an automatic, self threading lower looper so you can easily convert to 2 thread for things like decorative stitching and roll hems.

There is a built-in safety feature and the machine will not run if the doors are open.  The round tension knobs on the Juki MO-654DE are close to the needles and loopers and helps the threads stay in tension longer.

Juki  Overlock Sewing Machine Reviews

There are not a lot of reviews online for this machine but the few reviews there are for the Juki 2-Needle, 2/3/4-Thread Overlock Machine MO-654DE are outstanding.  We actually found nothing but 5 star ratings for this machine.  One really nice thing about the Juki  MO-654DE is that it is very stable and does not move around when you are serging like a lesser quality machine might.  The job of a serger is to trim the seams and enclose the edge of the fabric and the Juki MO-654DE does a great job of that, easily cutting through just about any type of fabric easily.

This machine is easy to use.  It threads easily, everything is color coded, and tensions are easy to set.  There will be a bit of a learning curve for some people but once you have the basics down you will have no trouble using the Juki MO-654DE.

There were a couple of concerns that some people had.  One was that the instruction booklet that comes with the Juki 2-Needle, 2/3/4-Thread Overlock Machine MO-654DE does not explain all of the different kinds of stitches that are possible with this machine and that a good serger book would be a good investment for anyone considering this machine.  The other concern that someone noted was the lack of a coverstitch used to hem knits.
